DELHI DEPUTY CM MANISH SISODIA HOSPITALISED DUE TO COVID-19
Manish Sisodia, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister tested positive for covi-19 last week, now admitted to the city’s Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Hospital after complaints of fever and breathing difficulties. He had been under self-isolation since testing positive on September 14.
“After facing mild fever, I took a COVID-19 test and then I come to know that I have test positive. I have isolated myself. I do not have a fever as now I am fine. With your prayers, I am sure I will return to work after recovering my health,” he tweeted.
Manish Sisodia was the second minister in Arvind Kejriwal govt., whose test positive for the COVID-19.
The COVID cases in the national capital being on an uphill, parliament is set to put off indefinitely again today.
It was certain to cut short the session — which started after more than five months and was scheduled to continue till October 1 — after nearly 30 members tested positive for the disease in the compulsory tests before the session started and later.
